GTBIT has a well equipped library with a collection of more than 43000 books. Apart from books library also subscribes a large number of national and international journal, wide variety of magazines, newspapers and non-book materials.

Aim

Library aims to provide wide and efficient library and information services to the Engineering Students.

Mission :

The mission of the Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.

Functions :

• Support the instructional, information, research, and curriculum needs of the Institute through an effective, collaborative collection development and management program.
• Provide a competent, skilled staff dedicated to meeting user needs by encouraging and providing opportunities for professional training and development.

Library Services :

Students, faculty members and employees of the institute are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library membership. The library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and technology offers vide range of library services.

• Online access to select Journals Through IEL (IEEE/IEE Electronic Library) online Service etc.
• Database search through DELNET, OPAC
• Current Awareness Service :
• Reference Service
• ILL Service.

Institutional Membership :

GTBIT Library is the member of DELNET, so all faculty members and students can access the services of DELNET. The Web address of delnet online is http://www.delnet.nic.in the users can send their query through University Librarian.

Delivering full text access to the world's highest quality technical literature in engineering and technology. GTBIT Library is a Member of AICTE Indest Consortium and subscribes to IEL (IEEE/IEE Electronics Library. ) The Web Address of IEL is ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore
